Merlin Mann tweeted in 2010, “[…] never let the guy with the broom decide how many elephants can be in the parade.”
Ever since I saw it on Seth Godin’s blog in 2012, I’ve stolen, misquoted, and generally spread the phrase around. A lot of great ideas die in meetings and emails because of the guy with the broom.
If you are the guy with the broom, try to remember how awesome the elephants really are.
